Atlante Yachts has introduced its latest innovation, the Atlante Classic 42, a 42-meter explorer yacht designed to set new standards in luxury, functionality, and design. Building on the success of its predecessor, the Atlante Classic 35, the new model offers increased volume, more usable space, and larger deck areas.
The Atlante Classic 42 features exterior design by VYD Studio, while its naval architecture is believed to have been developed by Arrabito Naval Architects. Crafted with steel and aluminum, the new model combines rugged oceangoing capabilities with a refined, timeless aesthetic. The shipyard responsible for construction has not yet been revealed.
One of the standout features of the Atlante Classic 42 is its covered infinity pool on the main deck aft, complemented by a convertible beach club that can be configured to suit various cruising needs. The yacht’s design includes "closed" and "open" positions for these spaces. In the "closed position," the infinity pool is covered by a teak deck area, making it ideal for long passages. When the deck opens, the infinity pool is illuminated and extends to reveal the full beach club, providing a perfect setting for relaxation and entertainment.
The yacht also has a flybridge Jacuzzi and a tender garage, underscoring its focus on luxurious amenities and lifestyle features. The forward deck includes ample space for sunbathing, while the upper deck offers an al fresco dining area and additional lounging areas on the flybridge.
According to Paolo Dose, the head of design at Atlante Yachts, the Atlante Classic 42 is an evolution of the smaller Atlante Classic 35. “The new design brings more volume, larger spaces, and optimized functionality,” he explains. “It retains the oceangoing capabilities and steel/aluminum construction of the 35 while offering additional space and lifestyle-oriented features. This yacht offers a practical and timeless design that will never go out of fashion.”
The Atlante Classic 42 follows the shipyard's philosophy of creating unique, efficient yachts tailored to the specific needs of the owner. With this model, Atlante Yachts continues its commitment to delivering fully customized yachts with an emphasis on practicality, design, and luxury.
Currently, the Atlante Classic 35 series is under construction, with the first unit being built at Mengi Yay's shipyard in Tuzla, Turkey. The hull and superstructure were joined in September 2024, and the yacht is set to be delivered to its "experienced Northern European" owner in Spring 2025.
The Atlante Classic 42 is set to redefine the luxury yacht experience, combining adventure with opulence for those seeking a yacht that offers the best of both worlds.
